Pastor Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Casimiro Pedroso fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Christophersen FC's protests and gave Casimiro Pedroso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Christophersen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Chumo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Nevada in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Christophersen FC's Ciro Baleren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Chumo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Javier Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pastor Chumo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grünbein FC's Jesus Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Ciro Baleren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Baleren in the 29th minute of play forced Grünbein FC's goalkeeper Pastor Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andres Banegas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Grünbein FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Banegas couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Grünbein FC's Gustavo Cristos tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pastor Chumo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Nevada in the 39th minute of the match. Eleuterio Montxo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Montxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Grünbein FC booed when Christophersen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Banegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Etxekopar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Jesus Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Etxekopar having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Andres Banegas made the kick off in the second half. When Grünbein FC's Andres Banegas in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Christophersen FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Christophersen FC's Jesus Constancio got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 65th minute, Gustavo Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Grünbein FC's zone, Javier Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Chumo came out of the goal and Javier Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Chumo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Baleren in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Grünbein FC's Pastor Chumo got control of the ball when Ciro Baleren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pastor Chumo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ciro Baleren sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Christophersen FC booed when Grünbein FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Banegas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jesus Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Domingo Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
