Edgard Mantzio's late challenge caught a FC Ashworth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Ashworth's Emanuel Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Ikatz in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Virgilio Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asado al parquet's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Azubeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Emanuel Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Ikatz was the one to do the kick off. Teobaldo Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Enmanuel in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Asado al parquet got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Natanael. Eliseo Enmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teobaldo Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Enmanuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Licerio having to make a save. Eliseo Enmanuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Licerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Enmanuel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asado al parquet's goalkeeper Teobaldo Licerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
