Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Chinto made a kick off. General Paz's Danilo Oro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Perdices AFC's goalkeeper Eusebio Dodorol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Dodorol was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Danilo Oro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Dodorol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. General Paz's Tomas Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Chinto in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Rafael Txomin made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Gamus. General Paz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Danilo Oro scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Dodorol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the General Paz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
