With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Tome in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Suarez saved Nafta Super from getting behind. If Danilo Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Donio in the 14th minute of play. German Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Danilo Oro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. German Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mauricio Dalmai came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the General Paz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Dalmai couldn't finish the play. General Paz's Danilo Oro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Danilo Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Paz's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Oro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Suarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to General Paz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leopoldo Cortez hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, General Paz's Danilo Oro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Suarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Oro in the 62nd minute of play forced Nafta Super's goalkeeper German Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Oro took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Suarez. German Suarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Danilo Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Oro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Danilo Oro struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. German Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for General Paz. German Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Dalmai in the 74th minute of play. Danilo Oro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Suarez having to make a save. If Ambrosio Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Suarez having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Danilo Oro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. General Paz's Leopoldo Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Suarez having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Cristian Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
