Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 0) General Paz's Danilo Oro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Mauricio Dalmai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the General Paz and the BURGUESES players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to General Paz getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mauricio Dalmai hit a great ball. If Danilo Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Danilo Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Oro in the 12th minute of play. Tomas Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Pirmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. General Paz's Tomas Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Lonzo in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Orlo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BURGUESES's Pedro Ekaitz. Pedro Ekaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to General Paz getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alejandro Iratxo hit a great ball. BURGUESES's Eleuterio Gines shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomas Gamus but with some difficulty. Pedro Ekaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Danilo Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ekaitz having to interfere. If Danilo Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Manuel Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mateo Quentin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BURGUESES's protests and gave Mateo Quentin a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Dalmai in the 46th minute of the match. If Mauricio Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Pirmin made a kick off. Danilo Oro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. General Paz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pedro Ekaitz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. If Ambrosio Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ambrosio Orlo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Ekaitz. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. Pedro Ekaitz was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Mauricio Dalmai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Dalmai really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After a rather tough play, General Paz's Leopoldo Cortez got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Eleuterio Gines sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Gamus skillfully saved the ball. Ambrosio Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. General Paz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
