Jaime Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcos Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Raebert scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Primo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lehmann's Ulises Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Raebert in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Lehmann got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Michael. In the 45th minute, Lehmann's Silvano Handi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaime Gartzea. Jaime Gartzea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Ihintza made a kick off. Jaime Gartzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Handi went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Raebert in the 77th minute of play forced Lehmann's goalkeeper Ulises Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Marcos Raebert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Primo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Blas Erruki hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marcos Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Primo having to interfere. If Marcos Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club 9 de julio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lehmann.
