Ambrosio Paul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Remigio Aresti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Salvador Thomas in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Juniors's Robustiano Basualdo. In the 16thth minute of the game Ambrosio Paul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Por Honoris Causa's Remigio Aresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ambrosio Paul put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Remigio Aresti. Remigio Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Lando in the 21st minute of play. Isaias Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Restu in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Robustiano Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Sazon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaias Lope. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Por Honoris Causa's zone, Ambrosio Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Aresti came out of the goal and Ambrosio Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Por Honoris Causa's goalkeeper Remigio Aresti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Paul. 32 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Cristo Lando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Aresti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Por Honoris Causa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Lando came free, but Remigio Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Paul got free with Remigio Aresti in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafino Restu during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ambrosio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Paul got free with Remigio Aresti in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Cristo Lando put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Remigio Aresti. Boca Juniors's Isaias Lope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Lando in the 62nd minute of play forced Por Honoris Causa's goalkeeper Remigio Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Ambrosio Paul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Aresti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Remigio Aresti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Paul went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Por Honoris Causa's Remigio Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Lando in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Cristo Lando put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Remigio Aresti. Ambrosio Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Remigio Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Errando came free, but Isaias Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Paul in the 87th minute of play. Ambrosio Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Abastas during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ermegildo Abastas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Por Honoris Causa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Boca Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
