Cristo Lando got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 10th match minute before Arsenio Gumaro had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Lando in the 16th minute of play forced Longchamps's goalkeeper Arsenio Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Cristo Lando from a close distance when the talented Arsenio Gumaro managed to make a qualified save. Longchamps's players were relieved. Arsenio Gumaro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ambrosio Paul sent off a good shot on target. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ambrosio Paul in the 27th minute. Ambrosio Pauls short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Arsenio Gumaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 38 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Nisio. In the 40th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Koldo to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, Longchamps's Domingo Esiquio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaias Lope came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Longchamps reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Paul in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Gumaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Longchamps's Omar Enekoitz got a free kick in the 46th minute. Cristo Lando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Arsenio Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ambrosio Paul struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Arsenio Gumaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Arsenio Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ambrosio Paul took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arsenio Gumaro. Arsenio Gumaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Isaias Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Longchamps's Saturnino Gonsalve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Lope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristo Lando struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Arsenio Gumaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Longchamps's Arsenio Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Lando in the 77th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Ambrosio Paul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Longchamps's Arsenio Gumaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the game, one of Boca Juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Longchamps. Domingo Esiquio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaias Lope. 4-1. In the 88th minute Cristo Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Lando in the 95th minute of play. When Ambrosio Paul came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Paul couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boca Juniors had played much better football throughout.
