The Cuyoj fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Chipiscú FC's Anacleto Menendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Loiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Orkatz to strike the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Menendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Camilo Loiola made a huge save. Venancio Felo came out of the goal and Elpidio Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Abel Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chipiscú FC fans jumped to their feet.
