The supporters of Simba FC booed when Pedermar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simba FC's goalkeeper Gaston Guerau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blas Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severino Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Guerau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Unax's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Simba FC's Blas Marin in the 30th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Roberto Itzaina was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pedermar AFC through an amazing save. Federico Florinio came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roberto Itzaina could save by the left post. Federico Florinio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Itzaina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Simba FC's Blas Marin got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Teodoro Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Blas Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Blas Marin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Itzaina. Blas Marin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Mateo made a kick off. When Pedermar AFC's Everardo Mateo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simba FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Simba FC's Raimundo Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Roberto Itzaina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Marin in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Florinio in the 57th minute of play forced Pedermar AFC's goalkeeper Roberto Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pedermar AFC's Silverio Hernando got a free kick in the 58th minute. Federico Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roberto Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Mateo in the 62nd minute of play. Blas Marin might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Itzaina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Marin ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Pedermar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Florinio came free, but Roberto Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Florinio took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Itzaina. Roberto Itzaina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Florinio in the 90th minute of play forced Pedermar AFC's goalkeeper Roberto Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Itzaina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pedermar AFC defense, Blas Marin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Itzaina. The Pedermar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Itzaina should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Simba FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pedermar AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
