With an all-out effort, Pedermar AFC's Maximiliano Adrio threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Everardo Mateo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cornelio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Roberto Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Itzaina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Edwardo in the 43rd minute of the match. Everardo Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Adrio having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Edwardo made a kick off. After 56 played minutes MESSI FC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Belmiro. Maximiliano Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Nayely in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MESSI FC defense, Silverio Hernando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Adrio. The MESSI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Adrio should have stopped the shot. If Everardo Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Mateo in the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Everardo Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Edwardo in the 97th minute of play forced Pedermar AFC's goalkeeper Roberto Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
