In the 29thth minute of the game Albert Yonchevski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simba FC's Gaston Guerau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Pincha Fc's Jonathan Montes got control of the ball when Federico Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Montes was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Raimundo Barrionuevo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raimundo Barrionuevo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Jonathan Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Marin in the 40th minute of play. Gaston Guerau came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Pincha Fc's Albert Yonchevski. But to his dismay, Albert Yonchevski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After the first half Pincha Fc were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Virgilio Conrao was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Stefan Witek might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Guerau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Witek ran back to his position shaking his head. Pincha Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
