Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blas Marin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Fausto Ihazintu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaston Guerau. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 9th minute, Fausto Ihazintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simba FC's Gaston Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Sayveon in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Florinio in the 20th minute of play forced Matheu's goalkeeper Teo Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Simba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Sayveon came free, but Gaston Guerau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Matheu's Fausto Ihazintu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaston Guerau. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. When Joel Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Matheu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Sayveon couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Simba FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Virgilio Conrao hit a great ball. Joel Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gaston Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Damaso Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Joel Sayveon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Federico Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Guerau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Franco in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Damaso Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Fausto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheu's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Guerau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Fausto Ihazintu made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Guerau. Simba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Virgilio Conrao's late challenge caught a Matheu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Conrao helped the player get up and apologised. Virgilio Conrao hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Damaso Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Raimundo Barrionuevo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simba FC and the Matheu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Simba FC's Raimundo Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Simba FC's Gaston Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Sayveon in the 91st minute of play. If Fausto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
