Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Cuchilla's Diego Caradaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Damian Botello made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cuchilla's Ernesto Stephen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Garaile struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ernesto Stephen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético La Falda. 11 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Falda's goalkeeper Evelio Costante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Sustrai. Evelio Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Caradaro in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Martino in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Stephen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Vargas in the 18th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Roberto Vistruario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuchilla and the Club Atlético La Falda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cuchilla's Roberto Vistruario got a free kick in the 25th minute. Christian Martino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Stephen having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Cuchilla's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bernaldo came free, but Ernesto Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Braulio Vargas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cuchilla's Ernesto Stephen. Ernesto Stephen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes Club Atlético La Falda got a freekick which was hit by Damian Botello. Ernesto Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Garaile in the 38th minute of play. Damian Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Stephen having to make a save. If Braulio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Stephen came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético La Falda's Hector Garaile. But to his dismay, Hector Garaile quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Club Atlético La Falda fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Club Atlético La Falda's Hector Garaile looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damian Botello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Stephen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Aristides Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Botello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Stephen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Club Atlético La Falda's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Braulio Vargas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Diego Caradaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evelio Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Hector Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Botello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Stephen came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Botello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 80th minute. Ernesto Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Eusebio Dabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ernesto Stephen made a huge save. Christian Martino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Damian Botello came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Club Atlético La Falda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Botello couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cuchilla booed when Club Atlético La Falda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Martino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Dabi's late challenge caught a Cuchilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Dabi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Eusebio Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético La Falda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuchilla.
