If Gaston Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Zeledon Baleren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. C.A.Talleres's Manuel Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Buinton in the 41st minute of play. Christian Eudoxio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Manuel Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Oriche, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Santos Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the C.A.Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Quentin couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With his leg Manuel Illart managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Rosetti FC's Joaquin Servando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Clodoveo Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquin Servando hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes of play Rosetti FC's Joaquin Servando was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Rosetti FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Joaquin Servando hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Santos Quentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Eudoxio in the 80th minute of play forced Rosetti FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Baleren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, C.A.Talleres's Santos Quentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Baleren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Santos Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosetti FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
