Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruben Walme kicked off to start the match. If Geronimo Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NY Red Bulls's German Phelipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Lonzo in the 5th minute of play. German Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Lonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Geronimo Naldo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Chinguillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Naldo couldn't finish the play. Daniel Frasco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruben Walme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ruben Walme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Frasco. The goal made the score 2-0. If Anacleto Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Frasco having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Vladimiro Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NY Red Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Goizeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Frasco made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Vladimiro Goizeder sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Gelmiro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Daniel Frasco was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Ruben Walme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruben Walme really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Vladimiro Goizeder took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Frasco. Daniel Frasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Chinguillos's zone, Ruben Walme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Frasco came out of the goal and Ruben Walme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Lonzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Vladimiro Goizeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Ruben Walme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Frasco was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Geronimo Naldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinguillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Naldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Phelipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, NY Red Bulls's German Phelipe got control of the ball when Geronimo Naldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Goizeder in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes Chinguillos got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Eliazar. After a defensive mix-up in NY Red Bulls's zone, Geronimo Naldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Phelipe came out of the goal and Geronimo Naldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Goizeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Ofelio's late challenge caught a NY Red Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Ofelio helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chinguillos! Chinguillos's Daniel Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Goizeder in the 76th minute of play. NY Red Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinguillos the free kick. After a rather tough play, NY Red Bulls's Serafino Niva got a free kick in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Serafin Ofelio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this German Phelipe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. German Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Lonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the NY Red Bulls defense, Ulises Lonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Phelipe. The NY Red Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Phelipe should have stopped the shot. Ruben Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Rafe charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Rafe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciriaco Rafe hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 98thth minute of the game Ruben Walme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinguillos's Daniel Frasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that NY Red Bulls were the better team. NY Red Bulls's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
