After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Amancio Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escalada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, Escalada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Chesus came free, but Cosme Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Ortle succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Cosme Bortzaioriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Chesus in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Moises Manex managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Manex was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Escalada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Jorrin came free, but Cosme Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capitolio FC's Elpidio Quintun pulled a muscle in his leg after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Paolo Deunoro charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Deunoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Ortle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Lisandro Valentine skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Amancio Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Capitolio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match, Moises Manex tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lisandro Valentine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 41st minute, Rene Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Ortles short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Lisandro Valentine to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lisandro Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Amancio Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Valentine having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Ortle was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Manex in the 51st minute of play. Carlos Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Capitolio FC's Lisandro Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Manex in the 55th minute of play. When Escalada FC's Moises Manex in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Manex couldn't finish the play. Amancio Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Amancio Ortle in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capitolio FC's zone, Moises Manex stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Valentine came out of the goal and Moises Manex tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Capitolio FC defense, Amancio Ortle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Valentine. The Capitolio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Valentine should have stopped the shot. If Amancio Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Azubeli hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Moises Manex blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lisandro Valentine having to make a save. Escalada FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
