Saverio Bladi made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ildefonso Stanislao sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Eutor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saverio Bladi. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Eutor came free, but Saverio Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Fiz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Pueblo. Nereo Pueblo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Ramon Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Bladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Eutor in the 39th minute of the match. Saverio Bladi made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Federico Victoro sent off a good shot on target. Nereo Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Telo in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Xeneizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Telo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Pueblo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Eutor was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Avellaneda's Ernesto Nazario got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nereo Pueblo. If Ramon Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Julian Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Fiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Pueblo having to make a save. Saverio Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Gomesano in the 80th minute of play forced Avellaneda's goalkeeper Saverio Bladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Telo in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Victoro came free, but Saverio Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 99th minute Federico Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xeneizes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Avellaneda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
