A.C Lila Carrique's Cristobal Loreto got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Vladimiro Frascuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trompul FC and the A.C Lila Carrique players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave A.C Lila Carrique a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anastasio Garaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trompul FC's Arnulfo Gaitan. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Loreto during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Cristobal Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Dolfos's late challenge caught a A.C Lila Carrique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Maria might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Gaitan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Maria ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, A.C Lila Carrique's Cristobal Loreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnulfo Gaitan. Arnulfo Gaitan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Cristobal Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnulfo Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovidio Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Cristobal Loreto sped through Trompul FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Gaitan. Arnulfo Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Teo Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristobal Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Trompul FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Clemencin. In the 81st match minute, Trompul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Gaitan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in A.C Lila Carrique's zone, Teodosio Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Igon came out of the goal and Teodosio Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute of the match Braulio Clemencin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severo Igon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trompul FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Cristobal Loreto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnulfo Gaitan, 1-5. 94 minutes into the game, Benigno Iraido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trompul FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C Lila Carrique the free kick. Benigno Iraido hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Cristobal Loreto came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the A.C Lila Carrique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Loreto couldn't finish the play. A.C Lila Carrique's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
