When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Teobaldo Monte sped through Club Atlético Lion King's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Venerando. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Monte to make the kick off. Gualeguaychú's Rolando Luken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Gualeguaychú from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Toro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rolando Luken made a huge save. Justino Betadur hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Lion King's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gualeguaychú had won, even though Club Atlético Lion King had held more of the ball.
