With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Tobias Gaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. riverjony's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Justino Itzaina 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Ignacio Urdaspal's late challenge caught a riverjony's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Urdaspal helped the player get up and apologised. Ignacio Urdaspal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Arnoldo Obano came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the riverjony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Obano couldn't finish the play. The riverjony supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rincón de los sauces F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Rincón de los sauces F.C.
