Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5028, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 9) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teobaldo Monte took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to riverjony getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Eulalio Hunfredo hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Baldomero Sabino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and riverjony's Ernesto Valente didn't even have to move. In the 7th minute, Teobaldo Monte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Valente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Luciano Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. riverjony's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Cisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Luken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Monte might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Valente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Monte ran back to his position shaking his head. Gualeguaychú's Baldomero Sabino got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, riverjony's Severiano Herauso got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in riverjony's zone, Edgard Bingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Valente came out of the goal and Edgard Bingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Isidro Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Valente having to interfere. Tobias Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Gualeguaychú got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Sabino. After 28 played minutes riverjony got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Honrio. Teobaldo Monte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Hunfredo lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a defensive mix-up in riverjony's zone, Teobaldo Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Valente came out of the goal and Teobaldo Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Joachim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. riverjony's Ernesto Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Bingen in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Obano was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Edgard Bingen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of riverjony's Ernesto Valente. Ernesto Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Marcos Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, riverjony's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Monte came free, but Ernesto Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Teobaldo Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, riverjony's Ernesto Valente got control of the ball when Teobaldo Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoldo Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gualeguaychú getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Baldomero Sabino hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Teobaldo Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Monte in the 92nd minute of play. Edgard Bingen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Valente firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcos Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Valente having to interfere.
