Eriberto Odon came out of the goal and Enzo Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marciano Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marciano Pacorro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Prospero Txomin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute Fernando Mede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Gorka in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Itzaina in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Txomin saved Calabacillas from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Calabacillas's Enzo Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Odon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Enzo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rincón de los sauces F.C defense, Enzo Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Odon. The Rincón de los sauces F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Odon should have stopped the shot. With his leg Prospero Txomin managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Rincón de los sauces F.C's Marciano Pacorro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the match, Calabacillas's goalkeeper Prospero Txomin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Pacorro. Prospero Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Prospero Gorka came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Calabacillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Gorka couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Justino Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Marciano Pacorro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Prospero Txomin. If Justino Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Barros in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Prospero Gorka fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eriberto Odon, passed just outside the right post. Prospero Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Odon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Itzaina in the 87th minute of play forced Calabacillas's goalkeeper Prospero Txomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Prospero Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Pacorro in the 90th minute of play. Enzo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Odon having to interfere.
