Cícero Carioca started the match with the kick off. Joel Igon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Rojelio in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Cipriano Sanduru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tío Sam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpus FC the free kick. A collision led to Tío Sam getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cipriano Sanduru hit a great ball. Olimpus FC's Genaro Leheren pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cipriano Sanduru was shown his second yellow card after 14 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cipriano Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With his leg Joel Igon managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Olimpus FC's Lázaro Rojelio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olimpus FC's Ariel Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Carioca in the 32nd minute of play. Cícero Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpus FC's zone, Marciano Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Dei came out of the goal and Marciano Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Cícero Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lázaro Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Sasoin in the 55th minute of the match. Ariel Dei came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Tío Sam's Cícero Carioca. But to his dismay, Cícero Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 72 minutes into the game, Marciano Nevada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tío Sam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpus FC the free kick. A collision led to Tío Sam getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Marciano Nevada hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, Tío Sam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Sol to maneuver through the defense. Omar Avellaneda's late challenge caught a Olimpus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Avellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. Omar Avellaneda hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Olimpus FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Joel Modestio hit a great ball. Amadeo Saturnin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Dario Mitxel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tío Sam's Joel Igon didn't even have to move. The Olimpus FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tío Sam's performance. The match ended with a win for Tío Sam.
