When Aquiles Soin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Deportivo Pulqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Soin couldn't finish the play. La ToSCa LoCa's Hilario Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Soin in the 11th minute of play. Hilario Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Soin in the 14th minute of play. Guido Quexal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teobaldo Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Mendez having to interfere. Hilario Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Rodrigo Enmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isaac Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La ToSCa LoCa's zone, Aquiles Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Mendez came out of the goal and Aquiles Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Camilo Evangelista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaac Dominguez. Camilo Evangelista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pulqui's Jorge Federigo got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pulqui's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Evangelista came free, but Isaac Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Soin got free with Hilario Mendez in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, La ToSCa LoCa's Arsenio Sedeni got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 71 minutes into the match, La ToSCa LoCa's Ricardo Paio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Arsenio Sedeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deportivo Pulqui getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jorge Federigo hit a great ball. Isaac Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Teobaldo Osorio scored 1-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Mendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
