Teofilo Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Teofilo Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Blanco having to interfere. Teofilo Quintyn might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Quintyn ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Quintyn came free, but Epifanio Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Blanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Quintyn went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Deportivo Madera's Teofilo Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Teofilo Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Teofilo Quintyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Salvador Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Epifanio Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the C.A. Independiente defense, Teofilo Quintyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Blanco. The C.A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Blanco should have stopped the shot. After 22 played minutes C.A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Esiquio. 29 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Johans came free, but Epifanio Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Teofilo Quintyn made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Blanco. C.A. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Teofilo Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 36 minutes, Teofilo Quintyn made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Independiente's Epifanio Blanco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes, Jonatan Sengrat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Madera and the C.A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Blanco having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Quintyn to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Teofilo Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Madera's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Quintyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Blanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Epifanio Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Epifanio Blanco stood somewhat misplaced when Teofilo Quintyn came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 64 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Johans during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geronimo Johans kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Madera's Castillo Cepeda got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Epifanio Blanco made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Teofilo Quintyn sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Teofilo Quintyn put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Epifanio Blanco. Epifanio Blanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Musko went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Madera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A. Independiente.
