Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rafael Silvanito made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, C.A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Loiola to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Silvanito in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Blanco saved C.A. Independiente from getting behind. Bruno Isauro took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Blanco. Epifanio Blanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anselmo Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Javier Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's Zacarias Hever sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Emmanuel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Epifanio Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Isauro came free, but Epifanio Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Blanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Isauro's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Anselmo Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Hever in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Hever made a kick off. Anselmo Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Hever in the 51st minute of the match. Epifanio Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Victorica booed when C.A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Loiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilberto Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Hever's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Emmanuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Zacarias Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Hever in the 72nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Weterio during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Victorica getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Silvano Weterio hit a great ball. If Javier Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Victorica's zone, Eliseo Llanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Emmanuel came out of the goal and Eliseo Llanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Blanco having to interfere. C.A. Independiente's Javier Crispo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
