A very good chance. David Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Damian Martino sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Pedro Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Ado made a kick off. David Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Martino in the 53rd minute of the match. Danilo Weterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Cefero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Ismiango's David Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 61st minute of play. The long shot by Mauro Bastiaro in the 64th minute really tested Segundo Cefero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Club Atletico Banfield's Celso Gomez got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Celso Gomez off the ground. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Banfield's Celso Gomez got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Danilo Weterio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ismiango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Weterio couldn't finish the play. Ismiango's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Club Atletico Banfield's Segundo Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Weterio in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atletico Banfield fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ismiango had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
