Albino Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Perpinya having to interfere. In the 21st minute Albino Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Licerio in the 23rd minute of play. Gregorio Marz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chaco FC's zone, Abel Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Perpinya came out of the goal and Abel Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Chaco FC defense, Elpidio Florian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Perpinya. The Chaco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Perpinya should have stopped the shot. Fernando Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Licerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Perpinya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Abel Eli came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Legend Never Die FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Eli couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Albino Licerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Legend Never Die FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Abel Eli hit a great ball. Abel Elis short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Fernando Perpinya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over Legend Never Die FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chaco FC throughout the match.
