Edgardo Indartsu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Roldan. Dionisio Roldan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Ihazintu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Roldan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eleuterio Bela came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Que Lio Messi F.C.'s Cosme Valiente. But to his dismay, Cosme Valiente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dionisio Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Indartsu in the 31st minute of the match. Justino Ritchie was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Olimpic Gym. Edgardo Indartsu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dionisio Roldan. 1-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Que Lio Messi F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Clemente Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Roldan having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Edgardo Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpic Gym's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Indartsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Clemente Ihazintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpic Gym fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Indartsu was the one to do the kick off. Cosme Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Bela having to interfere. Clemente Ihazintu struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dionisio Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpic Gym. Que Lio Messi F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edgardo Indartsu 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Edgardo Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Roldan having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Clemente Ihazintu made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Roldan. Que Lio Messi F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Dionisio Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Indartsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Edgardo Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Olimpic Gym's Alonzo Norino got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Clemente Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Roldan was a little too slow when Edgardo Indartsu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-7. Olimpic Gym's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
