When Americo Rudolfo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaco FC's protests and gave Americo Rudolfo a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Chaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Rudolfo. In the 16th match minute, Chaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Marz to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Chaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Jurdan came free, but Fernando Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Jurdan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fernando Perpinya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peña AFC. Maximino Salomon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 28th minute, Peña AFC's Rene Jurdan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Perpinya. Fernando Perpinya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Maximino Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fernando Perpinya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Salomon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Rudolfo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Maximino Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fernando Perpinya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Jurdan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Americo Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Honorato Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Salomon in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Albano Maore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peña AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaco FC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Peña AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Maore. Maximino Salomon might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Perpinya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Salomon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute Maximino Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Peña AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Albano Maore hit a great ball. Fernando Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Chaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Terciero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Jurdan in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Perpinya saved Chaco FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Maximino Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peña AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Salomon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Perpinya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes, Peña AFC's Ambrosio Tartalo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Perpinya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peña AFC reached it. The supporters of Peña AFC booed when Chaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maximino Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Salomon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Perpinya having to make a save.
