After a rather tough play, HAMMER's Evelio Gabirel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Legend Never Die FC's Isidoro Qwinton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HAMMER. Albino Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute of the match, Albino Licerio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Feliciano Filipo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Feliciano Filipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in HAMMER's zone, Abel Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Filipo came out of the goal and Abel Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to HAMMER getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eduardo Rumaldo hit a great ball. Benicio Lawrence took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Boniel. Marcelino Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Legend Never Die FC's Leonardo Tomi got a free kick in the 34th minute. Edelmiro Rosio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelino Boniel. Legend Never Die FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in HAMMER's zone, Albino Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Filipo came out of the goal and Albino Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Abel Eli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albino Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Filipo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lázaro Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. HAMMER's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Otsoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of HAMMER booed when Legend Never Die FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Florian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Albino Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legend Never Die FC's Albino Licerio got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, HAMMER's Lázaro Otsoko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelino Boniel. Marcelino Boniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Feliciano Filipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Eli's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Eli in the 63rd minute of play forced HAMMER's goalkeeper Feliciano Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Filipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Eli in the 65th minute of the match. Feliciano Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Licerio in the 66th minute of play. After 71 played minutes HAMMER got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Lluc. Elpidio Florian's late challenge caught a HAMMER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Florian helped the player get up and apologised. If Albino Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Filipo having to interfere. Abel Eli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Feliciano Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Legend Never Die FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
