After 23 minutes, Armando Gaizko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La cicloneta and the Chaco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La cicloneta getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Armando Gaizko hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Santos Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La cicloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Gotzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Americo Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La cicloneta the free kick. The supporters of La cicloneta booed when Chaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chaco FC's Fernando Perpinya got control of the ball when Abel Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Abel Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La cicloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chaco FC's Fernando Perpinya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Chaco FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th match minute, La cicloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Gaizko to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaco FC's goalkeeper Fernando Perpinya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Gotzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Chaco FC's Americo Rudolfo got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Americo Rudolfo off the ground. Americo Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Santos Gotzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. La cicloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Chaco FC's Sebastian Cilio got a free kick in the 66th minute. Fernando Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Santos Gotzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santos Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Lopez in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Chaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Marz. 89 minutes into the match, Abel Lopez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Chaco FC's Fernando Perpinya. Fernando Perpinya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the La cicloneta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
