Edgardo Indartsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Elequemedo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Clemente Ihazintu made a precise shot to the right of Honorato Viviano. Peña AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Edgardo Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpic Gym's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Indartsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Viviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edgardo Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Viviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Ihazintu in the 37th minute of the match. Olimpic Gym's Eleuterio Bela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpic Gym from getting a goal against them. Clemente Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Viviano having to interfere. After the first half Olimpic Gym were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Indartsu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Peña AFC's Rene Jurdan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Peña AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edgardo Indartsu 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpic Gym's Edgardo Indartsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Honorato Viviano. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. Honorato Viviano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Indartsu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 65 minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Peña AFC's goalkeeper Honorato Viviano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Ihazintu. Edgardo Indartsu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Honorato Viviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpic Gym. Honorato Viviano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Ihazintu in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Olimpic Gym's Edgardo Indartsu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When Edgardo Indartsu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Olimpic Gym fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Indartsu couldn't finish the play. Clemente Ihazintu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Honorato Viviano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Peña AFC's zone, Edgardo Indartsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Viviano came out of the goal and Edgardo Indartsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Viviano having to make a save. After 88 minutes, Clemente Ihazintu made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Peña AFC's Honorato Viviano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpic Gym's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
