If Santos Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Montrelle's late challenge caught a La cicloneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Montrelle helped the player get up and apologised. Jacobo Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Honorato Viviano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santos Gotzon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Peña AFC's Honorato Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Gotzon in the 17th minute of play. Peña AFC's Honorato Viviano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Peña AFC from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes La cicloneta got a freekick which was hit by Armando Gaizko. After 29 minutes of play, Peña AFC's Ambrosio Tartalo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Oidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! La cicloneta's Siro Oidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Salomon in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, La cicloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Jurdan came free, but Siro Oidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Viviano having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. Santos Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Viviano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Abel Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La cicloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Viviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of La cicloneta booed when Peña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Maximino Salomon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peña AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Abel Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Viviano having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
