The Los Picantes FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Los Picantes FC's Teodosio Ladio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristo Nalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Bieito in the 11th minute. If Teodosio Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Ladio in the 16th minute of play forced Chinchinales AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Nalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Sergio Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinchinales AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Bazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Eloy Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Teodosio Ladio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cristo Nalo to make any attempt to save it. Eloy Bieito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Cristo Nalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natalio Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Bastiaro having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Picantes FC's goalkeeper Leandro Bastiaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Chinchinales AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Nalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Bieito. Eustaquio Astigar charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Astigar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Los Picantes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chinchinales AFC:s goal. Leandro Bastiaro had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Lorenzo Cordeara's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 3-0 became the score in the 46th minute when Teodosio Ladio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Ladio made a kick off. After some careless play in the Chinchinales AFC defense, Teodosio Ladio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Nalo. The Chinchinales AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Nalo should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Eloy Bieito notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Chinchinales AFC's Cristo Nalo. Cristo Nalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristo Nalo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Picantes FC's Eloy Bieito. But to his dismay, Eloy Bieito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Chinchinales AFC's Cristo Nalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Ladio in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Ladio in the 71st minute of play forced Chinchinales AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Nalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Ladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Nalo having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Eloy Bieito made a precise shot to the right of Cristo Nalo. Chinchinales AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Bieito in the 79th minute of play forced Chinchinales AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Nalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Teodosio Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Oskarbi's late challenge caught a Los Picantes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Oskarbi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Aquilino Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Eloy Bieito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Nalo. Chinchinales AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Bieito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that Los Picantes FC were the better team. Los Picantes FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
