Jonas Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Ruisko in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Chañaritos's Bruno Fagondo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ruperto Vellito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Txordon having to interfere. With his leg Hermengildo Txordon managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Medanitos FC's Oscar Vermudo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 minutes, Aquilino Ferran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chañaritos and the Medanitos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Chañaritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Ferran to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hermengildo Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Medanitos FC's Jonas Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Ruisko in the 27th minute of play. Tadeo Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hermengildo Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Medanitos FC's Emanuel Orlanda got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hermengildo Txordon.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Fagondo to make the kick off. Ruperto Ruisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jonas Rivero made a huge save. In the 54th match minute, Chañaritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Lugo in the 56th minute of play forced Chañaritos's goalkeeper Hermengildo Txordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Lizar hit a great ball. If Ruperto Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Hernan Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medanitos FC and the Chañaritos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernan Paulin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes of play, Chañaritos's Bruno Fagondo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Rivero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermengildo Txordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 87th minute, Tadeo Lugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Argoitz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Chañaritos were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Medanitos FC's much stronger midfield.
