Jonas Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Ferran in the 3rd minute of the match. If Ceferino Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Jon came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Corpen FC's Ceferino Ekialde. But to his dismay, Ceferino Ekialde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Jon was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Jonas Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Ferran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, ALFONSINA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Lalla's late challenge caught a Corpen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Lalla helped the player get up and apologised. If Ceferino Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corpen FC's Cristobal Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristobal Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Corpen FC's Damaso Feo got control of the ball when Silvestre Sol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Ferran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonas Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Aquiles Blai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonas Jon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Abadie in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Silvestre Sol managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALFONSINA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Sol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Ceferino Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Maximino Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Ceferino Ekialde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ceferino Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Jon having to interfere. Ceferino Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jonas Jon made a huge save. During the 66th minute of the match Evelio Lalla completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Evelio Lalla a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 73 minutes into the match, Ceferino Ekialde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Jon. ALFONSINA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Ekialde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Maximino Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ceferino Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jonas Jon made a huge save. If Jonathan Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Eskuin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Sol in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Corpen FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Corpen FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
