The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Abeitia got free with Cecilio Astudillo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Cecilio Astudillo managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when CA Mancardos's Prospero Abeitia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Romulo Elazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Obeko, 6-1. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Prospero Abeitia put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cecilio Astudillo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Abeitia in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Prospero Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the CA Mancardos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Abeitia couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes, Arnulfo Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doble Visera FC and the CA Mancardos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Inocencio Fagildo made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Astudillo.
