Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 100) Alados's Leopoldo Quinteros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Inocencio Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Quimilí's Emilio Cheche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Weterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hipolito Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alados's Hipolito Silvanito got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Inocencio Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Inocencio Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quimilí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Quimilí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Lander to maneuver through the defense. Quimilí's Edgardo Breogan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Quinteros in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Quimilí got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Milian. With his leg Romeo Weterio managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Quimilí's Florencio Lopez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 22 played minutes Alados got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Salvatore. Laureano Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Romeo Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Weterio having to interfere. In the 28th minute Ciriaco Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alados's zone, Florencio Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Weterio came out of the goal and Florencio Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebio Turis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Romeo Weterio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Quimilí's Inocencio Matia got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Eusebio Turi made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Weterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Matia's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Eusebio Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Matia in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Weterio saved Alados from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Hipolito Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Inocencio Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Romeo Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Lander might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Weterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Lander ran back to his position shaking his head. Romeo Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Matia in the 66th minute of play. Romeo Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Alados got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Cordaro. Marcial Salomon might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Weterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Salomon ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Milian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Weterio having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Milian in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Weterio saved Alados from getting behind. When Leopoldo Quinteros came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Alados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Quinteros couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Leopoldo Quinteros rounded Quimilí's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Alados succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Quimilí had controlled the match.
