Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) Avellaneda's Emiliano Manni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avellaneda's Antonio Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Teodor in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Avellaneda's zone, Ernesto Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Rosalio came out of the goal and Ernesto Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Barea in the 36th minute of the match. Mateo Silban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Julio Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Silban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hernan Teodor made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aurelio Iraido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avellaneda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Aurelio Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Damian Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Rosalio having to interfere. Avellaneda's Antonio Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Teodor in the 61st minute of play. Antonio Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Victoriano Fidencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Silban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Fidencio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Jarimana defense, Aurelio Iraido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Silban. The Jarimana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Silban should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Hernan Teodor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonio Rosalio, passed just outside the right post. Hernan Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Avellaneda had won after a very even match.
