In the 36th minute Jonathan Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as RIV-PLATECH's Jonathan Locaio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artemio Inguma. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. Jonathan Locaio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 48th minute, Edelmiro Gumaro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RIV-PLATECH's Serafin Bazil didn't even have to move. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Innocenzio was the one to do the kick off. With splendid footwork Hugo Innocenzio arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 57th minute. Serafin Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. RIV-PLATECH's Serafin Bazil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save RIV-PLATECH from getting a goal against them. A collision led to RIV-PLATECH getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marciano Paez hit a great ball. Hugo Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, RIV-PLATECH's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Modesto Prejun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Jonathan Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Mambru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Innocenzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Modesto Prejun made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Bazil. RIV-PLATECH's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Modesto Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Matera FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
