Virgilio Crispo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Crispo came free, but Honorio Pudes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Bonifaco in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Bastian in the 13th minute of play forced Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's goalkeeper Honorio Pudes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Ubarna made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jaime Abar sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th match minute, Deporte en el Recuerdo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Abar to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Gabrio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. thaplug F.C.'s Arnulfo Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Bonifaco in the 27th minute of play. Valentin Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Ubarna having to interfere. Honorio Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Bastian in the 32nd minute of play. thaplug F.C.'s Carlos Christobal got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rosendo Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's Fernando Gabrio got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Fernando Gabrio off the ground. In the 38th match minute, Deporte en el Recuerdo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Pudes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Crispo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Virgilio Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Vasco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Honorio Pudes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for thaplug F.C.. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jaime Abar made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Christobal in the 52nd minute of play. Rosendo Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Honorio Pudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Pudes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Vasco in the 63rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Carlos Christobal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. thaplug F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Christobal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Cordarrel might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Pudes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Cordarrel ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's zone, Rosendo Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Pudes came out of the goal and Rosendo Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Virgilio Crispo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Christobal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Honorio Pudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Abar in the 91st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Virgilio Crispo sped through Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Honorio Pudes. Jaime Abar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Arnulfo Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deporte en el Recuerdo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. thaplug F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
