If Americo Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Felixus's goalkeeper Omar Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honorio Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Belarmo in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Felixus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Handi to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Felixus's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Gabrio came free, but Omar Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Bonifaco in the 47th minute of play forced Felixus's goalkeeper Omar Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Belarmo to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Dalmacio Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felixus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Ekialde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Valentin Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Bonifaco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Dimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Bonifaco in the 57th minute of the match. If Jaime Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Valentin Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Felixus's zone, Valentin Bonifaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Dimas came out of the goal and Valentin Bonifaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Gabriel Cidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Belarmo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Valentin Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deporte en el Recuerdo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Americo Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Pudes having to interfere. Dalmacio Ekialde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Pudes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Valentin Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Felixus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deporte en el Recuerdo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
