After a defensive mix-up in EL OESTE FC RP's zone, Jaime Abar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Rosario came out of the goal and Jaime Abar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL OESTE FC RP's goalkeeper Simon Rosario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simon Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Abar in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Jaime Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Rosario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Abar's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Jaime Abar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Rosario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jaime Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Rosario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Bonifaco went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Valentin Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Simon Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Genaro Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Pudes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clodoveo Guerrero. If Jimeno Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Jaime Abar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Rosario. EL OESTE FC RP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Abar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Valentin Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Simon Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Martinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Pudes having to interfere. EL OESTE FC RP's Simon Rosario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save EL OESTE FC RP from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Vito during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genaro Vito hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Valentin Bonifaco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simon Rosario saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Deporte en el Recuerdo FC booed when EL OESTE FC RP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Honorio Pudes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, EL OESTE FC RP's Cecilio Martinez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorio Pudes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jimeno Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL OESTE FC RP's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Gabrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Pudes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Gabrio in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EL OESTE FC RP's goalkeeper Simon Rosario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Pudes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Deporte en el Recuerdo FC got a corner. EL OESTE FC RP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teo Hechter ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honorio Pudes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Gabrio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
