The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Campbell AFC's Abelardo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Dalmau in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Club Sporting Punta Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Lorenz came free, but Pablo Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Uriel Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Abelardo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pablo Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Errolan in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Errolan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Rexino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Campbell AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nicasio Lorenz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Silban got free with Abelardo Gonsalvo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Silban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Abelardo Gonsalvo made a huge save. Ovidio Errolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pablo Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Campbell AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Sansone to maneuver through the defense. Uriel Dalmau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Club Sporting Punta Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Lorenz came free, but Pablo Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Lorenz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Uriel Dalmau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Campbell AFC's Abelardo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Silban in the 56th minute of play. Abelardo Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Dalmau in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Campbell AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Dalmau came free, but Abelardo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Silban scored 1-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Gonsalvo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Club Sporting Punta Alta's Lino Silban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Gonsalvo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lino Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Abelardo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uriel Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Lino Silban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Gonsalvo. Campbell AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Silban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ovidio Errolan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Pablo Rexino made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Lorenz in the 89th minute of play forced Club Sporting Punta Alta's goalkeeper Pablo Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicasio Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Errolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Rexino having to interfere. Club Sporting Punta Alta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
