Arnulfo Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Giro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The Patricios fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Patricios's Andres Giro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Giro in the 9th minute of play forced Mandalado FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Mandalado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Giro came free, but Arnulfo Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andres Giro sped through Mandalado FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Iratxo. After some careless play in the Mandalado FC defense, Andres Giro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Iratxo. The Mandalado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Iratxo should have stopped the shot. When Patricios's Andres Giro in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cristian Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Fidele having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Giro in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnulfo Iratxo saved Mandalado FC from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Giro was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Isaias Quinten put in a rough tackle. 54 minutes into the game, one of Mandalado FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mandalado FC:s Arnulfo Iratxo showed great skill when he stopped Javier Dolfos:s penalty. Javier Dolfos scored 0-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Iratxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricios's Aquilino Nardo was substituted for Sergio Min. Arnulfo Iratxo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Andres Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Iratxo having to interfere. When Aquilino Tabb came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Mandalado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Tabb couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the game, Aquilino Tabb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandalado FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patricios the free kick. A collision led to Mandalado FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aquilino Tabb hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Giro in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Iratxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Andres Giro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Patricios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Giro couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Andres Giro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnulfo Iratxo. The goal made the score 0-7. Andres Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Iratxo having to interfere. Hector Efren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arnulfo Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Iratxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Giro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The Mandalado FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Patricios were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
