Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gregorio Balesio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With his leg Abel Rutenio managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Concepción's Ignacio Estebe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Octavio Lain hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ignacio Estebe scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Rutenio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Benitez hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ignacio Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abel Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Estebe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Abel Rutenio 20 minutes into the match. Abel Rutenio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Batista in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Leonides Rayman got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Balesio in the 30th minute of play forced Concepción's goalkeeper Fulgencio Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Hugo Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Ignacio Estebe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abel Rutenio, passed just outside the right post. Abel Rutenio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Estebe's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Vijarras Club's Abel Rutenio got control of the ball when Eustaquio Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Ignacio Estebe made the kick off in the second half. Mateo Benet hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Concepción's Ignacio Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Estebe in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Rutenio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Eustaquio Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Rutenio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Rutenio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Concepción's Eustaquio Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eustaquio Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Fulgencio Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Balesio in the 90th minute of play. If Saul Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Estebe in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Rutenio prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
