Mandalado FC's Arnulfo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Asteri in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Ibar in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Iratxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Ibar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Amadeo Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Asteri might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Iratxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Asteri ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alcohol en Gel a 1k FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mandalado FC.
