In the 18th of the match, Christian Papo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Esteban Gabrio got in the way and made a wonderful save. Esteban Gabrio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Papo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Christian Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Ponce in the 71st minute of play forced Le Morondaga's goalkeeper Esteban Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Justo Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute of the game, Fermin Baudelio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Angel Betadur's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Betadur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Le Morondaga getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Angel Betadur hit a great ball. If Tiburcio Rutenio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Gabrio having to interfere. In the 94th minute Cornelio Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Central's Justo Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Rosario Central players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
